League of Municipalities-CamSur Chapter elects Buhi Mayor Lacoste as president

PILI, CamSur—Buhi Mayor Rey P. Lacoste is now the new president of the League of Municipalities (LMP), Camarines Sur Chapter.

Mayor Lacoste won by acclamation by virtue of the support of majority of the LMP members during the elections held at Villa Caceres, City of Naga last Tuesday, July 27.

A dynamic worker and a political ally of Governor LRay Villafuerte, the new LMP CamSur president who will serve for three years will bring new and fresh productive ideas that will redound to the benefit of the organization.

The other officers of the LMP, CamSur Chapter are: Tigaon Mayor Arnulf Bryan Fuentebella, Executive Vice President;  Tinambac Mayor Ruel Velarde, Secretary; Goa Mayor Antero Lim, Treasurer; Garchitorena Mayor Solon Demetrio, Auditor; Bombon Mayor Ma. Luisa D. Angeles, Business Manager; and San Jose Mayor Antonio Chavez, Public Relations Officer.

The Board of Directors is composed of Pili Mayor Tom Bongalonta; Cabusao Mayor Nebb Santiago; Libmanan Mayor Marilyn Jimenez; Magarao Mayor Bading Señar; Caramoan Mayor Jhun Cordial; Bula Mayor Ben Decena; Baao Mayor Mel Gaite and Pasacao Mayor Asuncion Arceño.

The Vice Presidents include: District I - Mayor Reginor Astor, EVP for Operations; District II - Milaor Mayor Rogelio Flores, EVP for External Affairs; District III - Ocampo Mayor Fidel Carido, EVP for Internal Affairs; District IV - Siruma Mayor Sandy Ondis, EVP for Special Concerns and District V - Nabua Mayor Delia Simbulan, General Legal Counsel.
