Hundreds of Camarinenses moved a step closer to meaningful employment as the Provincial Government of Camarines Sur, through the CamSur Public Employment Service Office (PESO), partnered with Green Xentro for a two-day Mass Hiring Activity held on July 30–31, 2026, at the Digital Transformation Center, Capitol Complex, Cadlan, Pili.

The recruitment initiative provided job seekers with direct access to hundreds of employment opportunities with Green Xentro, one of the country’s growing transportation service providers. Among the openings were 450 driver vacancies, along with positions for Back Office Support, HR Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Dispatcher, and Operations Assistant.

The activity underscored the Provincial Government’s continuing efforts to connect Camarinenses with accessible and sustainable employment opportunities by bringing employers directly to the province.

For jobseeker like Jonnel De Vera from the municipality of San Jose, the initiative offers a chance to find work without having to leave home.

“Magayon kasi natatawan ning trabaho ang mga tawo sa probinsya. Dai na mapasiring pa sa Manila para maghanapbuhay. Dakulang tabang talaga ini sa mga Camarinense,” De Vera said.

Beyond facilitating employment, the partnership between the Provincial Government and Green Xentro reflects a shared commitment to strengthening the local workforce and creating livelihood opportunities that contribute to the province’s economic development.
