The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) awarded the Provincial Government of Camarines Sur a Plaque of Commendation in appreciation of its active and invaluable participation during the conduct of the Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) Serbisyo Caravan and Solution-Seeking Dialogue that contributed to the successful implementation of the 2025 RCSP on June 16, 2025 at the Digital Transformation Center, Cadlan, Pili.
The RCSP serves as a cooperative framework created by the DILG. Various government agencies and non-government organizations (NGOs) come together to deliver essential services, particularly in areas where such services are lacking. It also aims to conduct a participatory situational analysis in which agencies and organizations identify community issues and gaps, and develop effective solutions through solution-seeking discussions.
The Provincial Government of Camarines Sur, led by Governor Luigi Villafuerte, is fully committed to delivering essential services to remote communities. With this, the Provincial Health Office operates mobile healthcare units, while the Information, Communication, Archives, and Records Management Office (ICARMO) provides internet access via Starlink technology. The government also offers transport support for agencies and NGOs, ensuring accessibility. Key offices, such as the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), Environment, Disaster Management and Emergency Response Office, and the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPAg), also work together to make these initiatives successful.
“Sa pinagkasararong serbisyo kan manlaen-laeng ahensya, natabangan ta ang barangay na magkaigwa nin paglaom na masosolusyunan si mga problema ninda,” shared Marilyn Nebres, OIC, Social Welfare Officer II from PSWDO.
This recognition stems from the collaborative efforts of the province’s departments offering crucial services to the people.
