The Province of Camarines Sur stood in unity with the nation on September 13, 2025, as it hosted the Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat, a landmark initiative simultaneously carried out across the country. This nationwide effort, spearheaded by the Office of the President, in partnership with national and local government agencies, aimed to bring essential services, livelihood opportunities, and direct assistance closer to the Filipino people.
Governor Lray Villafuerte emphasized the significance of this collective efforts, stating, “Ang Handog ng Pangulo ay sabayang ginaganap sa buong bansa, at dito sa CamSur, libu-libong pamilyang Camarinense ang makikinabang mula sa iba’t ibang programa at serbisyo. Sa pamumuno ng ating Pangulo, hindi lang ayuda at proyekto ang naihahatid, kundi inspirasyon para magtulungan tayo tungo sa mas maunlad at mas magandang kinabukasan.”
The activity in CamSur benefitted over 4,000 individuals and families through services rendered by various agencies, including:
- DAR: Distributed COCROMs and livelihood aid to typhoon-affected agrarian reform beneficiaries.
- PhilHealth: On-site registration, ID issuance, and Yaman ng Kalusugan health services.
- PNP: Security detail, participant profiling, and issuance of police clearances.
- BFAR: Awarded fiberglass boats complete with accessories and marine engines.
- DepEd: Distributed tablets to 35 learners and launched the ARAL Program.
- DOLE: Conducted job fair, provided livelihood funds to food vendors, and stipends to GIP beneficiaries.
- DENR: Awarded residential and agricultural patents and distributed 1,500 seedlings.
- DOH: Donated wheelchairs and facilitated patient referrals to Bicol Medical Center.
- PSA: Offered National ID registration and civil registry services.
- DSWD: Released Sustainable Livelihood Program aid and distributed food packs.
- DOST: Provided water filtration kits and “Library-in-a-Box” units.
- TESDA: Distributed toolkits to STEP scholars.
- DTI: Held a Diskwento Caravan and released certificates to PPG and RISE UP beneficiaries.
- DA: Rolled out agri-interventions such as RFFA, HVCDP, CFIDP, Kadiwa ng Pangulo, and the P20 Rice Program.
- NHA: Issued resettlement certificates to families from Lupi and Pili.
To further expand the program’s reach, the Provincial Government deployed 10 mobile healthcare units, offering free medical, dental, and optical services, alongside Water on Wheels for potable water and Kitchen on Wheels providing freshly prepared meals.
Director General Katherine Chloe S. de Castro of the Philippine Information Agency underscored the deeper spirit behind the event, saying, “Lagi pong pinapaalala ng ating Pangulo na ang paglilingkod ay isang pribilehiyo. Ito ang nagtutulak sa ating mga lingkod bayan na magsumikap upang angatin ang kalidad ng buhay ng bawat Pilipino.”
The Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat shines as a beacon of unity and hope, proving that when government agencies converge with a shared mission, services can reach even the most remote communities. For the people of Camarines Sur, this initiative is not just about aid and assistance—it’s a tangible step toward a brighter, more inclusive, and empowered future.
