A new health facility opens right in the heart of the 1st district of the province of Camarines Sur. Through the efforts of CamSur Governor Vincenzo Renato Luigi Villafuerte, the Provincial Government of CamSur established the new state-of-the-art Ka Fuerte Dialysis Center in the municipality of Sipocot.
This newest addition to the heaps of health projects of the administration is in line with the Provincial Government’s continuous prioritization of the health sector in the province. The Center offers free hemodialysis treatment to indigent people and PhilHealth members who otherwise cannot afford the costly treatment.
Apart from its free services, its establishment in Sipocot makes healthcare services more accessible to Camarinenses, especially those residing in the 1st and 2nd districts of the province.
The Ka Fuerte Dialysis Center began their first trial run to put their water systems to a test on February 3, 2025 with 3 patients, followed by a second batch on February 5 with 6 patients, and on February 7 with 10 patients. After the successful trial runs, the Center officially opened on February 24, 2025.
The Center is staffed by a comprehensive team of healthcare professionals, including nephrologists, physicians, nurses, and support staff.
With 15 dialysis machines, the Center is looking at accommodating 30 patients per day across two shifts.
As of press time, 80 patients are already on the waitlist and awaiting their schedule.
The Ka Fuerte Dialysis Center is located at Hospital Road, South Centro, Sipocot, CamSur beside Sipocot District Hospital. For inquiries, they may be reached through their official Facebook page at KaFuerte Dialysis Center - Sipocot or through their hotline number at (0961) 759 8843.
