The Philippine Chiropractic Community Health Project returned to Camarines Sur for its 2nd Chiropractic Health Mission, held in partnership with the Provincial Government under the leadership of Governor Lray Villafuerte. The event took place on August 25-26, 2025, at the Fuerte CamSur Sports Complex.
Aiming to provide accessible care to individuals who may not otherwise have access to chiropractic services, the two-day mission offered a range of health benefits, including relief from common conditions such as back pain, neck pain, and headaches. It also helped improve mobility and flexibility, supported better posture, and promoted overall body function and well-being.
Minlou Debil, a senior citizen from Sagrada, Baao, had wanted to avail of the free chiropractic service last year but was held back by fear. This year, encouraged by her officemates and better informed about its health benefits, Minlou made sure to sign up.
“Ang tigparamati ko talaga ining likod ko [lower back pain] ta nabasa kami [ning uran],” Minlou shared, referring to the lower back pain she had been enduring since Saturday. “Katong enot, natakot ako, pero ngunyan, magayon palan talaga ta si pain nahahali. Mas [maginhawa] na ang paghiro.”
In total, the mission provided free chiropractic care to more than 500 patients from across the province.
After personally experiencing its benefits, Minlou—along with many other beneficiaries—hopes for another Chiropractic Health Mission next year.
