The Camarines Sur Local DRRM Officers convened for their monthly meeting this afternoon, July 11, 2024, at the Digital Transformation Center, Capitol Complex, Pili, Camarines Sur.
Key topics included updates on the series of events for the National Disaster Resilience Month celebration. Ms. Nivagine Zamudio of PAGASA-Bicol River Basin and Flood Forecasting Warning Center (BRBFFWC) provided updates on the status of PAGASA's weather monitoring instruments in various municipalities. Mr. Glenn Mancera, Chief of Operations Division of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) Region V, presented the guidelines on the use or attachment of gadgets that emit exceptionally loud or startling sounds, as well as signaling or flashing devices on motor vehicles.
