Finally tuloy tuloy na ang Naga/Pili airport upgrade and modernization . Target completion date would be 2029 for an international standard domestic airport .

We will strongly push , request and justify multi year funding this 2026 until 2028 budget so the runway will be finished by 2029 . Marami nang na sayang na panahon at opotunidad . Let’s all unite and fully support this project completion.

DOTR sec vince dizon visited us last May 9,2025 upon the invitation of Gov Luigi Villafuerte and myself so he can personally see and experience the short runway and the embarrassing terminal in the Naga / Pili airport , for a prime tourist destination like #camsur . A longer runway and a world class standard terminal and facilities will definitely boost tourist arrivals and will

My 1st week in office as Governor , I will meet with all tourism stakeholders and we will target and work together to achieve airport passenger arrival of 1 million passengers per year or an average of 2,740 passengers per day . The provincial goverment of camsur will surely do its share in funding tourism infrastructure development and promotions , just as I did when I was governor , From 2004-2013 . Camsur became the no.1 tourist destination in 2010 and 2012 with a peak of 8-10 flights per day . We already did it in the past , we surely can do it again and better as long as we unite and all work together , everything is possible !
