CamSur celebrates Earth Month, holds IEC Caravan among EVYCA BCC Chapter 🌏💚

In celebration of Earth Month in April, the Environment, Disaster Management and Emergency Response Office (EDMERO CAMSUR) of the Provincial Government of Camarines Sur held an Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) caravan among the members of the El Verde Youth for Climate Action (EVYCA) Baao Community College (BCC) Chapter on April 5-6, 2024, at the BCC Campus. 🌱
Over 2,000 students and EVYCA members attended the 2-day activity. The IEC caravan served as an avenue to raise awareness about Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) and Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation (CCAM) among the youth sector and further engage them in the protection and rehabilitation of the environment. An orientation on the roles and programs of the EVYCA and planning of their upcoming activities in 2024 were likewise discussed.
