Hailing from Camaligan, CamSur, Blessie Mae started singing at the young age of 4. She joined her first-ever competition at 10 years old and since then, she has created ripples, making marks at local, regional, national, and only recently, international competitions.

After bagging the gold medal at the World Championships of Performing Arts 2024, and becoming the 2024 Division Champion for Vocal Pop, gold medalist for Vocal Gospel, Vocal Contemporary, and Vocal Pop, silver medalist for Vocal Broadway, and semifinal silver medalist for Vocal Gospel, Blessie Mae was invited to perform the Philippine National Anthem at President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s third State of the Nation Address.

Governor Luigi Villafuerte of the Provincial Government of Camarines Sur personally awarded brand new laptops to Alternative Learning System teachers in the 5th district of the province. Each ALS district received three units of laptops. According to Christopher Baldoza, ALS teacher in the Balatan District, teaching a computer subject without an actual computer has been one of their struggles. With the new laptops they have received, teaching will now be much easier and more effective, while learning will become more interactive for their students, especially in their digital citizenship subject. The laptops awarded to ALS teachers are just one of the many projects and programs of the Provincial Government for the education sector.

The training enhanced the participant’s capability to respond to and treat emergency and combat casualties they may encounter in their line of duty. A global network of experienced instructors led the training on evidence-based and life-saving techniques and strategies that culminated in a simulated exercise.

The training is part of the initiatives of the Provincial Government of Camarines Sur, led by Governor Luigi Villafuerte, in building the province’s resilience in the face of adversity.

The Provincial Government of Camarines Sur, in partnership with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office - Camarines Sur and Camarines Norte, and Protected Area Office - Bicol Natural Park, conducted the Tree Growing Activity, in celebration 2024 Environment Month and Philippine Arbor Day, on June 25, 2024 at the Bicol Natural Park. 🌳
8,000 community members, volunteers, and the youth, as well as representatives from different government offices and agencies simultaneously planted 12,000 seedlings of native trees at the open and deforested areas of the BNP in Barangay Sooc, Lupi.
The tree growing activity is the start of the efforts of the Provincial Government, a member of the Protected Area Management Board (PAMB), to plant more native trees across 500 hectares of the deforested areas of the BNP.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. leads the distribution of land titles, support services and Presidential assistance to farmers, fisherfolk and families in Pili, Camarines Sur on 7 June 2024.

Joining the President in distributing assistance to the beneficiaries and communities affected by El Niño are different government agencies. The Department of Agriculture (DA) provides significant agricultural aid, including hybrid rice seeds, fertilizer vouchers, cassava granulators, pumping sets, yellow corn seeds, inorganic fertilizers and Gulayan sa Barangay packages worth PhP649,250.

The Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice) distributes 30 bags of certified inbred rice seeds while the Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PHilMech) donates three (3) four-wheel drive tractors.

Other agencies present to distribute assistance include the Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA) with its provision of funds amounting to PhP170,000 for rapid nursery propagation projects for sugarcane; the Agricultural Credit Policy Council (ACPC) with its Agri Negosyo Program; the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) with its provision of gears and fingerlings for fishing communities; and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), which are turning over bikes and agri machineries.

The DAR, in cooperation with key stakeholders, is likewise presenting the completion of several Farm-to-Market Road (FMR) projects across Camarines Sur which are seen to improve the delivery of goods and services in the Province.

Apart from these, the Chief Executive hands over around 2,115 Certificates of Land Ownership Award (CLOAs) covering 3,328.0973 hectares of land benefitting 1,965 agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) across Sorsogon, Catanduanes, Masbate, Albay, Camarines Norte and Camarines Sur.

He also distributes PhP10,000 each to select beneficiaries from Camarines Norte and Camarines Sur, aside from the monetary support for their respective provincial governments, and oversees the DOLE's aid to its TUPAD (Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers) beneficiaries and the Department of Social Welfare and Development's (DSWD) aid to its AKAP (Ayuda para sa Kapos ang Kita Program) recipients.
