Members of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of the municipality of Calabanga completed the 4-day Basic Life Support and Standard First-Aid Training spearheaded by the Environment, Disaster Management and Emergency Response Office (EDMERO).
"Prone po ang Calabanga sa disasters, sa mga kalamidad. By doing this activity, by doing this training, we are gaining more knowledge para po sa aming kaligtasan and to be of help sa aming community," shared Maribeth Ponce of MDRRMO Calabanga, one of the trainees. ❤️
The Provincial Government, under the leadership of Gov Luigi Villafuerte, highly believes in the importance of focusing and investing in comprehensive BLS training for the province's responders as it not only equips them with essential life-saving skills but also boosts their confidence in handling and managing emergency situations, ultimately benefitting the well-being of their community and of those they serve.
